Terms of Service

Agreement to these terms

These terms govern your use of maaya.works, operated by Maaya Software Solutions Pvt Ltd. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you are using the service for an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms on its behalf.

The service

We provide a cloud business platform and optional AI-hires. The platform is free for a single user. AI-hires and prepaid usage are paid features, described at the time you choose them.

AI-hires propose work — entries, invoices, drafts, follow-ups. Nothing they produce becomes final without your approval. You remain responsible for the entries and actions you approve.

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials secure, and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.

Acceptable use

Use the service lawfully. Do not misuse it, attempt to break its security, interfere with other users, or use it to store or transmit unlawful content. We may suspend access for conduct that risks the service or other customers.

Your data and content

You own your business data and content. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, and display it so we can provide the service. We process customer data as your processor under our Data Processing Addendum.

Fees and billing

The single-user platform is free. Paid AI-hires and prepaid usage are billed on the basis shown when you select them. Prepaid usage works like a recharge — you are never billed in arrears for usage beyond what you have purchased.

AI outputs and professional advice

AI-hires and our free tools and calculators are aids, not professional advice. Statutory figures (such as GST rates and thresholds) are indicative and may change. Confirm anything that matters with your accountant or advisor before relying on it.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or to protect the service. On termination, you can export your data for a reasonable period before it is deleted.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Chennai have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have under mandatory local law.
